To fight corrosion resistance, the elbow is constructed of hard-coat anodized aluminum alloy, and it has a silver powder-coat finish inside and out and includes a polymer bearing ring for the prevention of galvanic corrosion. An eyelet attachment point is provided for securing a lanyard or chain for a cap or plug (not included). The elbows meet a 900 psi hydrostatic test and comply with the current NFPA 1964 Standard.
